Wurlitzer 3m / 8r ex Ritz Cinema, Stockport. Now in the Clydebank Town Hall, near Glasgow. An enlargement using five ranks from the ex-East Kilbride Wurlitzer is planned.
Hilsdon 4m / 43r+ ex Playhouse Theatre and Palace Picture House, Edinburgh. Comprising of the 3m / 35r Orchestral pipe organ from the Playhouse and the 2m / 8r organ from the Palace. The enlarged organ is now situated in the New Palace Centre in Greenlaw and work is continuing to extend it to a design eventually including 606 stops and 18 toe pistons.
Wurlitzer 2m / 10r ex Luxury (later Leicester Square) Theatre, London. Originally installed in the Stillwell Theatre, Brooklyn, New York in 1926 but moved to the Luxury Theatre in 1929. It is now in the Mechanical Music Museum at Cotton, near Stowmarket, which houses a wonderful collection of fairground and dancehall organs, music reproducers, barrel organs and other instruments. The museum is open on Sundays during the summer months and well worth a visit.
